First this video http://vimeo.com/7694315
so amazing…. this is one cool book, I have watched that video like 20 times already, it is making my brain boil with ideas for new books
and then I found this today at the thrift shop… it is some kind of old animal anatomy book, unbelievably cool, although who knows what I’ll do with it right now… but certainly way too awesome to leave on the shelf!!

Hi Deb, well that is one amazing video – the books are beautiful, and the video itself is a work of art!! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Your find is very cool, too
I went and saw the Red Book on Friday – quite fun!! The book is huge and magnificent. The accompanying artwork of Jung’s they displayed is equally wonderful to see. I hope you get in to see the show – and while you’re there, check out the floor with the mandalas… phenomenal!
Lovely to see you’re firmly back on track. I enjoy your work – it reminds me of Autumns and trees, my grandmother, and I imagine you as a kindly lady on the surface, but with a deeper witchy internal self, deciphering codes and revealing arcane truths contained secretively within innocent books. <:-)
Karin, I am so jealous, still hoping to get to see it for myself, a friend of mine who lives in Brooklyn is in town this week for the holidays, hoping to maybe visit her as soon as term is done!
and Michael, I think those who live with me would say I can be pretty witchy on the surface lately, by the time the school term winds down I am just frantic for some time in the studio, I couldn’t sleep last night my head is boiling with work that needs to get out!! But I like your image of me, I sound regal and canny, so thank you!
that is one fab video! I love your new book… what a treasure!
thanks for stopping by Caterina, hope to get some more time online soon as final exams are done
Greart score!!
Wow that video! Patience defies description. And I love the quote from that tiny accordian book. And your new book is a great and unique find!
